More fun in the Sun!

We went to the McCormick Stillman Railroad Park last Saturday. It was really neat! There is an old train with a museum that you can go see. They had a fun train ride for families, another little train ride for the kids, and a carousel to ride. Jackie loved the carousel! She rode it twice. At first she was a little nervous when the horse started moving up and down, but by the end of the second time, she told me to let go of her and move away! Both times that she rode it she picked the same horse. It was so fun! 

 Jackie's favorite thing at the park is the swing. She loves to swing! Every time we go to the park we spend more time on the swings than anything else. Logan loves the swings as well. He get's so excited when we put him in.

 They also had a really neat model train room where there were tons of model trains. It was fun to get to see them. Jackie's favorite thing was this little train car that she could climb into.

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit us this past week! It was so fun to see them!We went swimming one evening while they were here. Jackie and Logan both love to be in the water! They love swimming. Playing in any sort of water whether it's the bath, the sink, a pool, or even just a puddle on the table they love to splash and play in it!

On Monday we went to the Phoenix Zoo with them. It was really fun. The rhino was up and moving around this time! Every time that we have gone before the rhino was hiding in the corner, but this time he was up and moving. He is huge!

Grandma and Grandpa bough Jackie a little notebook at the gift shop before we got started looking at the animals and she carried that book the entire time that we were there! Even when she had to get a drink she would hand it to someone and then immediately ask for it again when she was done. She loves it!

Tuesday we went to the library with some of the other girls in the ward and their kids. After the library we ate lunch at the Civic Center and let the kids run around.There are lots of fountains and things for the kids to explore. Their favorite thing was the LOVE statue.

Thursday we discovered another fun thing to do! There is an
activity for the kids called Kids Club in the Superstition Mall.
There were lots of fun songs and dancing for the kids to do. It took Jackie a while to warm up and start enjoying it. Logan loved the music and danced and waved his little arms the whole time!

 After Kids Club we went outside and there was a fun little pool and Jackie wanted to put her feet in the water of course! We enjoyed eating lunch by the water and doing a little shopping. We got Jackie two new pairs of shoes. She loves them!

Saturday we went to Gilbert, AZ and went to a little neighborhood fair with another couple that came down from BYU-Idaho. It was really fun! There were bounce houses for the kids to play with, a rock climbing wall, sno cones, food trucks where we got a free lunch, and lots of time in the sunshine! 

And finally, here are a few pictures of Logan in his new Sunday shirt. He was so handsome today! He turned 8 months old on Friday and is getting bigger and bigger. Hopefully he will start crawling soon so he can follow Jackie around and move on his own. He wants us to pick him up and carry him around down on the floor so that he is still at eye-level with Jackie when she does everything!
